Renovation of the temple buildings

The Krishna temple and the headquarters of ISKCON Finland is situated in the historically significant buildings that date all the way back to the 18th century. A lot of resources are needed to renovate these culturally and historically important buildings. The upcoming projects are renovation of the facade, city regulated renovations, architect costs and a new building. Also there is a great need to change the heating system from oil to earth-heating.

We kindly request you to donate for these important projects, so that the service for Sri Sri Gaura-Nitai and Srila Prabhupada would continue uninterrupted and nicely.

Festivals and Events of the Krishna Temple

Krishna temple arranges many festivals and events annually, such as Sri Krishna Janmastami, Gaura Purnima, Rama Navami, Sri Jagannatha Ratha Yatra and Diwali, as well as Sunday Feast programs and special events. The feast is served at the end of every festival and event. All the festivals and events are open to all and free of charge.

For arranging these festivals and events the following costs need to be covered:

  • Feast
  • Disposal cutlery
  • Waste arrangements
  • Flower decorations for the Lord and general decorations
  • Sound, light and stage arrangements
  • Guest guidance
  • Marketing and advertisement
  • Event related publication
  • Security related costs
  • Other paraphernalia

We kindly request you to donate for arranging these wonderful festivals and events.

Distribution of Ancient Vedic Literature

The philosophy of Krishna Consciousness or Sanatana Dharma is based on the Vedic Literature, which is accepted as the source of complete knowledge. One of the most essential functions of ISKCON is the distribution of the Vedas, especially Bhagavad-Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam. ISKCON translates, publishes and distributes these literature and other related publications. The literature is provided by the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust (BBT) established by Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the Founder of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON).

We would like to share these holy scriptures and publications to the needy and to the public institutions. We kindly request you to take part in this most auspicious welfare, Shastra Dana, by donating for the distribution of the holy scriptures and publications.

You can choose to donate according to your own will by pressing the donation buttons above or directly donate to the temple account.
